CREATURE TYPES
Animal
An animal is a nonhumanoid creature, usually a vertebrate with no magical abilities and no innate capacity for language or culture. Note that animals cannot use Parry defense.
Toughness: Base Toughness equal to Constitution. This value is modified by their armor.
Combat: Base Combat Bonus equal to 3/4 times level.
Good Saving Throws: Fortitude and Reflex (some animals have different good saves)
Skills: At 1st level, (2 + Int, minimum 1) skills at 4 ranks each, and (2 + Int) skill ranks per additional level.
Feats: One feat at first level, and an additional feat every third level. These feats may be chosen from the following categories:
Bonus Feats: Night Vision
Traits:
- Intelligence of -5 or -4 (a creature with an Intelligence of -3 or above cannot be an animal)
- Animals eat, sleep and breathe.
Advancement: Animals advance by gaining more levels in animal.
